Kanii is making waves in the music scene, recently surprising hundreds of fans with a spontaneous pop-up performance at Union Square in NYC. Despite just graduating high school, Kanii is already on the fast track to success, gearing up for a tour alongside superstar PinkPantheress and the rapidly rising artist BKtherula. PinkPantheress  became a household name after her smash hit “Boy’s a Liar”, while BK has been steadily growing a very loyal fanbase with her original music and her freestyles. 

Kanii originially gained recognition on TikTok with his hit single "I Know". The song went gold due to Kanii’s infectious approach to music, blending dancefloor-ready beats and with addictive refractions of R&B.

Kanii is very excited to perform alongside artists like BK and Pink Pantheress. “When we met in person it was hella cool,” Kanii said while detailing his first encounter with Pink. “I went in for a handshake and she was like ‘No, gimme a hug.’  I’m glad it’s not gonna be strictly business.”

Kanii is also going to perform at this year’s Rolling Loud LA, bringing a fresh and bouncy vibe to festival. “I feel like I have a mixed discography,” he began. “My catalog is pretty mixed with like, hype music and like mellow music. Seeing how [the crowd] reacts to both is gonna be interesting.

As mentioned above, Kanii held a surprise listening event and performance in NYC and with just one days notice, the event was flocked with fans. He was swarmed with hundreds of jovial supporters while he showed off his new sounds. Footage of the event went viral, proving Kanii’s music has earned the attention it’s been receiving

On his upcoming EP, "it was nice knowing u," Kanii effortlessly fuses elements of pop, R&B, jersey club, and other refreshingly unique sounds. Standing out as an artist has never been more difficult with the rise of TikTok and streaming, but Kanii has continues to release innovative pieces of work.

Kanii's latest venture, a collaboration with Riovaz and Nimstarr under the moniker The Heart Racers, yields the emotionally charged track "tell me." Accompanied by a compelling video, the song showcases Kanii's style and malleability, and will be an impressive addition to his catalog.
